I'm fixing to build a new computer and seem wondering what makes sheetcam run faster. Aside from ssd hard drives, Is it multiple cores, ram, etc. I know some programs can only utilize one core so having a bunch, doesn't help, it Actually hurts.

SheetCam's requirements are pretty modest. It only uses a few threads so it will benefit more from a few fast cores rather than lots of slower cores. Ram requirements are pretty low as well. If you are doing mechanical type work even a low spec machine will be plenty fast enough. You will only notice a difference if you are doing artistic work with lots of complex curves.
