I have been building CNC's as a hobby since my school years and for the past few years been working on a dedicated controller system as the PC based options were just not good enough with issues related to hardware, parallel ports and software. Having a love for electronics I started coding my own controller.
Just completed our first controller and wanted get some help for the THC part. The controller is running good but as I don't have any experience with plasma machines, I would like to get some information on the automatic THC part.

As per my knowledge we have designed the controllers and have two 12-bit analog channels on it and wish to use one of them for the arc voltage feedback and automatic Z axis control.
Will appreciate if someone can share their experience and explain what is required from functionality point of view so that we can also have the controller interface designed for automatic THC.
