Selecting parts....

Im guessing the issue I am having was caused by an automatic update. I use my machine for a cnc plasma. Before I could Hold down the left mouse buttonand drag to select multiple holes or parts to create layers. Now it does not do this. I have to hold Ctrl and individually select each part or hole. Anyway to go back? Or is this something being worked out in a later update?

I mentioned this to, only way is to install the development version, that still works ok.
