I know very little about CNC but my son, a mechanical engineer, installed a DIY CNC system on my wife’s long arm quilting machine and left me to do the software stuff. I plan to use Sheetcam to generate the Gcode but expect to be on this forum with lots of questions, especially at the beginning. I have found several videos but most of them are about 11 years old and the system has changed quite a bit. I truly appreciate any help that I get.
