When I import a dxf file to sheetcam it comes in to the program (in the parts box) as the part number not as the layers of the part , this is after upgrading to full license. what might need reset to solve this problem. using program for cnc plasma
Also: I tried importing a dfx that I had used before, that worked fine in the past, but now does not work
Is the layer box visible when you import the drawing? Perhaps all that is needed is to click on the View menu item and then click on the Layer Tool.

The ‘parts’ box only shows the drawing name (usually based on the file name). Do you see the drawing outlines? To see the layers listed turn on View->Layer tool.
