Re: Plasma THC preset voltage
You can make SheetCam ask for the thc voltage, and output it in the gcode. The important part of the equation is that you need to have a controller that knows what to do with the setting in the gcode. Just having it in the gcode won't do anything.

Re: Problem while generating g code
Have you created operations for your cutting? That's usually what causes no gcode for me.

Re: What bugs you the most in SheetCam?
Well, not being at all familiar with Linux or CommandCNC. This code is pretty much Greek to me. I tried googling the codes, but I'm still pretty lost.
This might be a task for someone who switched from Mach3 to CommandCNC. I don't think I'm going to be a lot of help, unfortunately.

The touch off command is correct for CommandCNC. It is an external routine.

Re: sheetcam parts different than file
I meant it should work on either version.
I think Les is flexible on the licenses for small one man operations. I've read a few places where he's okay with you using it on a second computer. You could always email him to check.

I'm pretty sure your license is good for both versions.

Okay. I didn't know if you had modified it after that. I'll try and take a look at it later.

If you upload your post and a sample job file, I'm sure we can figure out why you have an extra m08.

Re: UCCNC Postprocessor Assistance
So it's working now? Make sure you have the variable name exactly the same everywhere. The case is important.

Re: UCCNC Postprocessor Assistance
Usually the refdistance is the total distance of all non rapid moves added together. There is a variable in the post that keeps track of the distance. In my post it's simply called dist. Every move is added to dist and when it goes over the set value a reference is called.
