In the operation set the feed rate very low and try again. Does it still feed too fast? Look at the generated G-code. You should see the feed rate. Does it look correct?

I don't remember drillling ever having a feed rate. Drilling always uses the plunge rate. Feed rate is the rate when cutting sideways which of course you don't do while drilling. Are you sure those other jobs are using drilling?

I can't see anything obviously wrong with the post I have here. Could you upload a copy of your post processor.

SheetCam does not know what your inserted code does. As it has no idea if the machine has moved, the first thing it does it make sure the machine is at a known posiiton.

To get around this, use a move operation to position the head out the way. Now insert an M0 to pause.

I am afraid you can't scale in SheetCam. However if you import a drawing over the top of the previous drawing you won't lose your operations. As long as you haven't moved any contours between layers, all of the operations should immediately use the new drawing.

Thanks for letting me know. This does appear to be a Wine specific issue. I am now trying to track down the problem.

What is the kerf width set to on that tool? If you have a very large kerf width defined that would explain the problem.

Currently SC will only do parallel threads. I had not even considered taper threads. To correctly generate the paths for a taper thread SC would need to generate a spiral helix. You can't do this with arcs so it would have to be a series of short line segments. As long as the lines are kept short th...

Run SheetCam and go to Help->Reset pane layout then restart SheetCam. That should hopefully bring the button back.

Go to Help->about. Does it say it is licensed? If not, try reinstalling your license.

I am afraind there isn't much documentation on setting up wiggle pierce. The problem is that I don't have access to a plasma cutter to run tests so I don't really know what settings work well.

Yes. It is mainly for thicker materials where it takes an appreciable time to pierce. As the torch is moving the back spray of molten debris tends to exit sideways instead of blowing straight back onto the torch.

CDs are read only so you cannot save to them directly. This applies to any Windows software. To write to a CD you need to save to the hard drive then use CD writer software to write to the CD.

What do you have your pierce time set to? If it is short you won't get a wiggle. The number of wiggles is calculated from the pierce time, feed rate and wiggle length. Could you tell me exactly what post you are using. Most of the Mach posts should output Z moves.
