What post processor are you using? Could you post a job file that demonstrates the problem.

If you go to Help->open settings folder you will find all of SheetCam's settings etc. The ini file contains most of SheetCam's settings including any plugin settings.

If you don't have THC use the 'Mach3 plasma' post processor.

It would be very difficult to implement that in the post processor. The only advantage I can see in parabolic movement is a tiny reduction in overall machine time but the advantage is going to be very small and I don't think it would be worth the work.

Yes, that is right. I would recommend trying it on some wax or similar soft test piece before cutting metal.

NL is the flute length.
If you drill 2.5mm and the thread is 3mm the thread depth would be (3 - 2.5) / 2 = 0.25mm.

By the way I hope you aren't hoping to cut 3mm threads. You can get cutters that small but they are expansive and very fragile.

You can use profiles at any time. If the profile does not exist a copy is created from the master profile (i.e when you run SheetCam without -c).

That is a thread mill. Create a new rotary tool and select 'Thread mill' for the type. Se the number of teeth to 1and the flute length to the maximum depth the tool can reach. Pitch is the thread pitch the tool will generate. Thread depth you will have to work out or find by trial and error. This is...

Terry, it looks like the attachment is missing in your feeds and speeds thread. Could you try re-uploading it.

Dave, for your machine the 'Mach3' post should do the trick.

You would have to set the cut sequence after breaking the drawing.
Are these parts all the same? If so you may be better nesting them in SheetCam rather than in cad.
