Re: What bugs you the most in SheetCam?

Try it without a overcut, that's probably what's causing that.

Re: Sluggish duplicating parts Development ver

I see what you mean there, but saying that I have most of the other set to a single key and get around it easy enough, numbers you can use the keypad numbers and map top row numbers and with letters only time it seems to cause that problem is renaming a part, which can be got around by using caps.

Re: Sluggish duplicating parts Development ver

That seems better now Les.
Really liking the new custom shortcut keys, great how you can just use a single key as well, apart from mode/nesting can't seem to get it to change to a single key.
Good work, thanks.

Re: Sluggish duplicating parts Development ver

Thanks Les, yes I did have that enabled, it does help with that off, but there still seems to be a fair difference between between tng and dev versions when selecting parts laid out over say 2 sheets with 260 parts in total, dev is a lot slower for some reason. By the way new features are superb, se...

Re: Scananything - Manually draw and Distortion

I have scananything I have only used it on half a dozen jobs I found it a bit slow, you need a really good clean outline to trace or it jumps and need to start again, in my case the dxf was best traced over again to get a clean drawing. Just did a job today and partly as I nicked my long usb cable f...

Sluggish duplicating parts Development ver

I'm sure this has got worse in last few updates Les, same thing on house pc as well. I used to be able to get 3 or 4 sheets of parts onto one job file before it slowed down, even a sheet with 15 parts seems to start getting jumpy when nesting parts, tried a comparison using tng version and that does...

Re: What bugs you the most in SheetCam?

I'm curious - why do you need to break up the drawing if you nested it in Corel? For me when using nesting software to create the complete sheet as a dxf, I have a set of rules that work well on holes that don't work with the outer cut, likes of base plates I squeeze them in so tight I don't even u...

Re: What bugs you the most in SheetCam?

"Break Up Manually Nested Drawing" changes the cut order. I create any needed layers and operations, place start positions and create the cut sequence. If I then do "Break Up Manually Nested Drawing" the cut sequence gets changed. Also start points move as well when breaking up,...

Re: Nesting mode

I might be pushing it now!
It would be nice though, quite often I seem to mess up with quantities, if it showed the selected or parts count for enabled parts.
I do use reports to check numbers but I'm always looking for ways to speed up

Re: Nesting mode

It's in the new release. Wow, that's some service! getting to search box will be a real time saver, it's working great, many thanks. Was thinking you were talking about the search box saying it's in the new release, but then noticed the cut distance addition in the release notes as well, brilliant!...
