In Mach go to Config->general config and make sure the 'IJ mode' is set to INCremental. If it is set to ABSolute you can get this problem.

Give the attached post a try. Save the attachment to your computer then run SheetCam and go to Options->machine->post processor and clcik on the 'Import post' button. Using the box that appears, navigate to the post and open it.

You can download the runtimes from the SheetCam website. http://www.sheetcam.com/Download/vcredi ... vc2009.exe. Install that before installing SheetCam.

In Mach3 make sure you are trying to open the correct file type. For instance if SheetCam is creating '.tap' files you must make sure the 'files of type' box in Mach3's file open dialog is set to 'All files' or *.tap.

I can't think why it would change on it's own. Have you recently reinstalled or made any other changes?

You have the wrong post processor selected. Go to Options->machine->post processor and select a suitable post for your machine.

I checked and there is a SheetCam license under her name as well but no Scanything license. Did she accidentally order SheetCam instead of Scanything?

I just had a look through my records and I can't find your name on a Scanything license. All I can find is a SheetCam license in your name. Was your Scanything license made out to a different name?

Making the post stop halfway through a cut is difficult. It wouldn't be too difficult to make it stop at the end of the nearest cut segment but this wouldn't save you if you have a long straight cut. DoSpinCW() Sleep(100) While (IsActive (INPUT1)) Sleep(10) Wend Sleep(100) While (IsActive (INPUT1)) ...

I would recommend the 'Mach3 THC with scriber' post not the one with backlash compensation. If your torch is consistently referencing high you could always use a negative switch offset (e.g -3.81) to make it reference lower.
