Re: Plasma peck drilling function issue
What post processor is the person who sent you the other image using? I think CandCNC is the one that has the peck pierce programmed into their post. You would probably have to add those functions to your post to get that to work.

That's probably a different post processor. Tell us more about your system.

Re: Plasma peck drilling function issue
On some plasma cutters the initial pierce is longer. After the post flow air is running, the pierce time is shorter. Try dry firing the torch before you start your code to get the air flowing and see if that works better.

Re: Adding Options to Plasma Tool dialog - not enigh screen space
Can you make the lower section of the window display in 2 columns if there are too many fields to fit? I would think that would be easier than scrolling and would make better use of the window.

Re: All pierces first?
There is a plugin that makes toolbar buttons that will let you easily run more that one post. I believe it's called moreposts. You could also add a setting to your post that would allow a switch of sorts in the operation that would toggle the pierces only. I think it would be easier to have 2 differ...

Re: All pierces first?
You will have to copy & edit your post processor to only perform the rapids & pierces and ignore the cut moves. What post are you using?

On a rotary axis the Z is calculated from the center of the pipe not the surface.

Re: Rotary drawing issue
Split the hole on its own layer. Then you can inside offset the hole and outside offset the other lines. You might have to play with the start points to get the offset on the correct side. Also, make sure you select offset open paths.

Re: Where are predefined variables set?
Those variables are set in sheetcam based to the cut path. You can't set them. Are you trying to get your machine to park? There is a parking position in the settings.

Re: part in a part
Maybe a picture would help, but wouldn't you want the part to cut on the outside? The material outside of the part is scrap, correct? So the leads should be in the scrap.

Seems like these license issues cause strange symptoms. Why is there not just a clear indication displayed if the license is invalid?

I always figured the ramp angle was based on the cut speed and plunge rate. If they're the same then you get 45 degrees. Maybe I'm wrong.

Re: Tangential Knife/Drag Knife?
If you find the calculation in the post that is used when liftclearance is false then you should be able to add a constant value to the material thickness there.
I didn't look at the post, so I'm not sure what the calculation looks like.
