sheetcam windows and Linux version difference
as per the title, is there much difference between windows and Linux sheetcam versions?
should I be running sheetcam on wine on Linux or the sheetcam linux version?
(slowly been converting to Linux and getting the software I like to run on Linux)
thanks les

rotary axis linuxcnc
Les,
rotary axis setup in linuxcnc, do I need to use letters U, V or W in lieu of AB or C.
given it seems that ABC are fixed rotational axis and are not linear as sheetcam expects to see?
thanks

Re: Post Processor
think you are going to have to provide a little more information as to which DSP controller you have ....
it's like me asking you what tyres I should use on my car? (round fat ones is probably not going to help me)

Re: Turning module
Les that would be very good in sheetcam (or a secondary plugin / product), put me on that list to buy / trial for you. I am just a hobby user and not a big user, but the problem I see is the flexibility of postprocessing that allows the gcode sequence to be changed as some CNC controllers don't have...

Re: Torch not stopping before end of cut
Keith, yes that's the upgrade stick that you need. it will boot up (if you tell your bios to boot via USB first) and it will ask which drive do you want to wipe and install it on.... note WIPE. it will then reboot and look for compatible Mesa card hardware (5i25 or 7i92 it seems).... if it doesn't f...

Re: Easy Scriber -- how to configure
I suspect the the drop down to the plate and then stop may be because you are calling an M3.... and have thc enabled..... therefore Mach is waiting for the ArcOK signal before moving off and following the path.... try using something else like M7 to get your scribing routine going..... read next sec...

Re: Torch not stopping before end of cut
yes it is fair to say non existent.... if you look at the replies they are just spinning logs and replying to the run of the mill stuff .... if you ask a proper technical question ... it gets ignored (not the noob setup stuff (my spindle runs when I turn the machine on... the probing doesn't work et...
