One way I have been trying recently is saving a separate toolset for each material, doing that then saves each set of path rules for the material.
It's not a bad method and fairly quick to load up, don't really use overburn to be honest.

Re: Q regarding lead-in spacing from other cuts
The easy way with discs is to just rotate one way or the other using < > keys
You can alter rotation in nesting mode/right click/grid options.
Don't forget you can also type in angle and x, y co ords in little boxes bottom right of screen.

That's another new one to me, nice one! I'll be trying that trick.Les Newell wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 10:00 am Once you have the drawing loaded, set up a simple 'no offset' cut on it then use the dxf post processor to export it as a cleaned up dxf.

That would be great if you could Les, I'm sure there would be a good few others happy as well if it's possible.
Many thanks.

Edit operation while in nesting mode
Hi Les,
Just wondering is there a reason why it's not possible?
It would be really useful if that was the case, all other modes you can add/edit operations.
Thanks
Sean

Don't forget about action points as well, they work great for those areas that don't fit into rules, easy enough to use.

Re: Manual optimization like quick cut sequence
I'll try and replicate it and take better note tomorrow, I have sent in crash reports after it happens a couple of times but never sure if you get them.

Re: Manual optimization like quick cut sequence
It works really well in dev version, been using it a fair bit. I like the start leadin at centre of circles & larger toolbar icons in dev as well. The thing that I seem to have dev crashing is when selecting a new layer on a part and not actually clicking the part in the list, apart from that it...

Job report
I have had a few goes at editing the job report to just list parts cut without success.
Any chance you could give me a few tips please Les.
Thanks

Re: edge starting a part.
These are the two ways I would edge start, I'm not keen on starting from the edge of plate as you tend to get movement from the skeleton expanding.
It's worth drilling holes I think if you only have a few, doesn't take that long with hand drill.

Re: Set part order
Thanks David, (win7) it's actually when you click on the part on the sheet layout I'm meaning the part name on the left changes colour, not when you click the part name.
Found where you said 'Change window colors and metrics' didn't see any others in there that change that colour.
Thanks again.
