Re: Nesting mode

Also double clicking on operations to edit isn't available in nesting where all other modes it is.

Nesting mode

Sorry to pester you again with this Les, any chance you might take a look at it?

If nesting mode could get right click options it would be a big timesaver for me, I do use the 'copy all' operations a lot after you kindly added that previously.

Many thanks
Sean

Re: Crash using layer tool

Sorry I'm using windows 7 and latest dev version, very stable apart from that.
I know it's a odd workflow selecting a layer after making a duplicate, but sometimes is does happen.
Maybe easier seeing what happens in this video than trying to explain.
Thanks

Crash using layer tool

Hi Les,

Was going to send you the crash report but that crashed as well
It's not a big problem but just thought I would mention it.

Re: Drill Points

Good stuff, it's a very useful feature I use it most days at some stage, I try and do a cut first then let it move to do the peck while the post flow is still running, if that's not possible I have a key on the keyboard set to 'torch fire' I just give that a very quick fire as it's on the move to st...

I've a switch set up to bypass the arc ok signal, that will get around that problem as well Keith.

Re: Making use of usable material after plasma cutting

Are you entering sheet size into 'job options' and laying out parts on the sheet? that way you can save the sheet as a 'job file' and then zero up on x & y layout new parts in the gaps, disable original parts and cut away. I label up sheets of various sizes with job file number ie: 6OC12 (6mm Oct...

Re: True shape nesting

I'd be thinking just the same as mancavedweller as well, I've tried a few of the nesting packages and still find I can do a better job manually with sheetcam.

It would be better still if it was possible to edit operations in nesting mode :P

Re: Cannot add "new part" to sheet

You are probably well sorted by now, but just in case.
Try the quick load plugin as well for setting up new parts, it's a good timesaver!

Re: Path rules bug ???

I knew you would be on top of the game Kieth with thc on/off tricks, UCCNC sounds interesting don't think I have heard of that to be honest, must have a read up. I must say I have found at times something not quite right with the corners rule, like you say the angles trigger doesn't seem just right,...

Re: Path rules bug ???

Hi Kieth, If you set feed rate to say 99.8% for rule you can see where it's being applied. It looks ok on mine. Just as an experiment I ran you file with my post and tried it on the machine, just a dry cut, doesn't half pause where thc turns on/off, did you ever try S10/11 for thc on/off? you probab...
