I read thru your post, and I may have an idea. It looks like you are doing a machining operation, using the Mach3.scpost. I was just wondering if you were originally using a post set up for your particular machine, and then the post got changed to the generic Mach3 post. That's all I got for now, St...

Les, I didn't set the switch offset from within the job. There is something strange going on though. I powered up the computer today, and again the switch offset was not posting. I entered the offset using the set custom options again, and it started posting again. It seems like the offset is being ...

Generally, the post you use in Sheetcam is tailored to your controller. I use a CandCNC controller with Mach3, and my posts are written by CandCNC. There are dozens of posts in sheetcam to operate a wide range of equipment. You might let us know what equipment you are using and we may be able to giv...

Les, thanks for the editing tip. I have done some more testing, and proved that the Switch Offset was not being set. (I embedded a little code into the post to print out what the offset was at the place where it was tested) I then wondered if it didn't like the format that the Offset was being enter...

Yea, I'm using the edited version. What I've worked out so far is this started in the last 2 to 4 weeks. In those weeks I've updated Sheetcam, as well as Windows 7. So I'm not sure what has caused the problem. I've been mulling over whether or not to roll back my system to before this trouble starte...

Switch Offset not posting
Ok, here's my newest problem (starting to sound like a broken record). Due to the holidays, I've not cut anything for a couple of weeks, so today I went out to cut some backlog. First cut, the torch is dragging on the plate. What the ?..... So I did some checking and measuring, and it turns out the ...

Well, I had this same problem crop up again today, so I spent the day comparing TNG and the Development version against each other. Finally found the problem. I had Overcut set to 0.1 on the standard version and not on the Development version. Evidently the Overcut causes the cut to return to the st...

Les, I looked at those options this morning, and they were the same in both versions. I then tried loading the file again, and it worked fine today! I tried it several times yesterday, and it wouldn't work. Since I changed nothing in the program, I must be holding my mouth different. :? . I do remem...

Extra cut line
I've run into this strange problem with Sheetcam TNG Ver. 6.0.15. I drew up a quick, 3 sided rectangle with a notch in one end. My intention was to do an edge start on a thick plate I have and cut the rectangle on 3 sides, starting and ending on an edge. I drew up a dxf and imported it into Sheetcam...
