I have run into the same problem. I understand it staying with the tool library, but it seems to stay there even if you only put it in the operation for a specific job.

If you have a problem with Fanuc Rigid Tapping
Here is an edited Fanuc post that fixed a rigid tap problem in the original where the machine would just stop and do nothing after positioning at the hole. You can compare the original with my edited version noting the Daewoo 6025s machine. This machine accepts G84 canned cycle as well, but has to b...

solved
Thanks for the timely response. Checking the no move to z box solved the problem. I did not think that box affected x,y coordinates, but now I do. So basically sheet cam was just referencing its last known position.

next tool always returning to previous tools last position
I noticed that in the above posted program and others I have written the next tool called up will return to the previous tools last position of cut, then rapid to where it will actually cut. If you post the code look at the last xy coordinate a tool makes a cut or drill. The next tool will rapid to ...

part center
I figured that is what it was doing. I drew up several other circles with the top .125 drawn straight and saw the difference in the Y position. Thanks for the response.

Part center Y position not matching drawing
I have drawn the following part up on 2 totally separate CAD programs on 2 different computers and everything is identical. When I import the DXF file into Sheetcam, the lower right toolbar part center box always shows the y center as being -.0137 where as the part was drawn with a center of xo,yo. ...

Rotary plug-in for milling machine
Are there any plans for a rotary plug-in catering to milling machines fanuc, Haas, etc.? Around half of my jobs use a 4th axis rotary table. Some are simple drill tap operations at various A axis rotations, and some are countour/pocket radial milling. I watched you-tube videos on the plasma rotary p...

Try one of the minimal G-Code posts in your machine post processor tab. I think there are 3 or 4 of them.

Pocket milling start points
I have a job (attached) that involves pocket milling. Sheetcam always wants to start the cuts in the same spot no matter what I change in the cut sequence settings. Contour cutting does not have that issue, I can start my cut anywhere using the start edit button. Can you change the start point of a ...

Fanuc
Les, I just tried out the re-modified post on the previous jobs above and it looks like we have a winner. The code was run through 3 separate g-code simulators and no errors were reported. I also went though the code my self and saw no errors. The only edits I do now will vary on the job and how I w...

Fanuc
Hello Les, thanks for the timely response. I have tried the fanuc post you sent and it seems to work fine except for: (1) It does not post the G43 tool offset and (2) It post's the tapping feed as the thread pitch, not the actual feed in inches per minute (3) The tap rapids below work piece by .06 b...

Fanuc post processor
Are there any plans for a Fanuc post processor in the future? Fanuc control is very popular in the USA. If not, (anyone may respond) then which post would be to closest to Fanuc? I currently use the HAAS with arcs post and it works well with minimal editing of code, but was wondering if any of the p...
