Got Scananything up and running on my CommandCNC machine. Running, but not working. When I choose my dot marker, and start the calibration process, Scananything will start travelling towards the dot (if it's off-center). Kind of a jerky motion, but it's headed there. However, before it gets to the i...

I was getting it non-stop. Updated to .43, and I don't believe I've had the error since.

This post is not working in CommandCNC. Giving "unknown G code" errors. I'll post on the CandCNC forum and see if they can tell me what needs to be changed.

THC disable when crossing over existing kerf?

I'm curious if it would be possible for Sheetcam to disable THC when crossing an existing kerf. I'm assuming this is a geometry issue on the Sheetcam side, and not a post/THC/table controller issue? I ran into an issue today, using loops on corners. The torch would loop out for the cut, and then div...

Are they not shown at all in Sheetcam? Or just not recognized as a drill operation? I've found they have to import as actual circles to be recognized for a drill operation. If you convert them to curves (or something like that) in your drawing, they may not register as circles when imported into She...

What tool offset (or kerf width compensation) does. In the top photo, no offset puts the center of the tool (plasma arc, end mill, etc) directly on top of the part. This means the part will be slightly undersize, due to 1/2 of the tool (plasma arc, mill, etc) cutting INSIDE the part, and 1/2 cutting...

Grid lines on Linux sheetcam?

I've recently moved from Windows/Mach to Linux/CommandCNC. I cannot seem to get the grid lines to show up on the Linux version of Sheetcam. I've changed colors, type (dots vs lines), etc, and nothing. The rulers will show up, but no actual grid. I use the grid on nearly every cut to nest parts toget...

Awesome. I'm actually running Mach/Windows right now. I've been holding off on the upgrade until Scananything was available for Linux / CommandCNC. However, per https://www.candcnc.com/supportforum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1729&p=9875#p9875 , the upgrade from Windows to Linux just got more expens...
