Excellent, im glad your a smart fella! ;) I appreciate the explanation! Sometimes on flat sheet when it moves a long distance and material is warped or sitting on the table not completely level it triggers a limit, guessing because it is > 3mm higher than the last, so i am assuming I could manually ...

Here is a simpler one for me to see what is happening and compare it to the beginning of the Code we are troubleshooting. 3 - 2.5" lines, plasma, scribe, plasma on a 1.5" tube (.75" to centerline). I think one of the bugs (going off into no mans land) is if it is scribe tool first, as...

What i am shooting for is reference with the torch switch, lift up to rapid height (.75" in this post) offset to scribe position. Fire the m8 relay and move to proper offset (allowing it to engage while moving, and then lower to .5" Z height to engrave (as the scribe shoots down approx .56...

It seems to have worked. I tried to look at yours and see that you just added a - on that axis for lines and arcs. Tried to modify mine (as i have made other modifications and it came up blank) I probably missed something or made an error. I will combine the 2 to do what i need.

I think you can modify or uncheck the delete overlapping lines. I make a habit of naming my layers differently instead of using colors.

I see, i figured so. I think the smoothstepper has similar abilities that i have not learned about totally yet, maybe meant for laser trigger, but i am hoping maybe i can make that work with my THC301D in a similar fashion.

Not a problem Les, i totally understand. I will look it over and try it to see if it is better than what i have done already. EDIT: I had tried to introduce a negative in about half a dozen different ways, but failed with all of them. This one is so simple i will be happy and pissed if it works. ;p ...

AJ, that is quit a document you put together on your build! Do you want to come put one together for me? LOL Your build has some similarities to mine with the inverted gear rack, gear reduction and spring loaded motor/gear mounts. How is your optical height sensing working? All i use is a floating m...

I decided i better make sure you had my email unless you found it from my website yourself.

Also, your plasma table looks nice, i am always curious about everybody's ideas, so i will page through your build and take a peek.
