Re: Rotary simulation tool position

Hold down the shift key while dragging with the mouse. That will rotate the display.

Re: Add x,y,z jog to end of operation

The simplest way to do this is to use the parking position. In SheetCam go to Options->job options->parking. Turn on 'Use X' and 'Use Y' then enter the coordinates you want to move to.

Re: turtorials?

If you go to YouTube and do a search for SheetCam tutorials you will find quite a few. The ones by Arclight Dynamics are very good.

Re: Plasma Post Processor read the Leadin type

How are you detecting wiggle and ramp?
I have to admit I would prefer to add an option allow the g-code to specify Z axis moves.

Re: Plasma Post Processor read the Leadin type

leadinType only specifies if it is a lead in or a lead out.

There isn't any easy way for the post to know of the pierce is a ramp or wiggle pierce.

Re: Scanything camera recommendations - GoPro??

I've had very good success with ELP cameras, such as this https://www.amazon.com/ELP-2-8-12mm-Varifocal-1-3megapixel-Android/dp/B01N8YH5VY/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=elp+camera&qid=1697639397&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1 Even lighting is very important and these ca...

Re: Illustrator Files not importing correctly.

When you import the SVG file a box appears with a bunch of options. Is the pixel size set to 96DPI? If so, try changing it to 90.

Re: postprosser not working for me

Unfortunately quite a few download links broke when I upgraded to PHPBB3 some years ago back. It took a bit of hunting though backups but I think this may be the file you want.

Re: Scanything License

The saving issue could be a problem with your license. What does it say in Help->about?

For the calibration, make sure you have the display set to 'Mask' or 'Mixed'. Is the dot flickering or breaking up? If so, try experimenting with the brightness slider.

Re: Error code-Layer not found

This is because you are using different layer names in your drawing than the cut operation was last set up to use. Simply drop down the layer selection list box and select the layer you want to cut.

Re: Layers and Operations

Leave everything on one layer and do an 'outside offset' jet cutting operation. In your cut operation go to the 'cut path' tab and make sure optimisation is set to 'auto' and 'Cutting rules' are set to 'keep parts together'. SheetCam will automatically reverse the cut side for the inside of your par...

Re: Selecting Cut order

There are a couple of ways of doing this in SheetCam. Fully automatic: In SheetCam open your cut operation and go to the 'Cut path' tab. Make sure Optimisation is set to auto and set the cutting rules to 'Keep parts together'. Make sure both the inside and outside contours in your drawing are on the...
