That post doesn't appear to be complete. Would you have an original from the same source?

It looks like you have some HTML code in your post processor. Your image indicates, beginning with, "<br />" (which, itself may not be incorrect). I can't tell what you have prior to that - there may be more. I assume SheetCam comes across this and doesn't load the post processor so you ge...

I understand. It just catches me off guard when I don't think about it during programming and then see the second profile doesn't get cut. That's when I think to ask (just in case).

Thanks for the reply...

I haven't tried SheetCam for Linux in quite awhile. I run the Windows version using Wine and works for the most part.

Cutting Rule And Chain

I don't know if this is possible or simply the way it has to work, but I have a problem with a cutting rule to turn off the plasma torch early and a chain from one part to another. Is it possible to disregard the torch off early rule just before the chain, but leave all other torch off early rules? ...

Les, I haven't found the time to give specifics, but the versions after 6.1.29 do not help the original problem of this post. In fact 6.1.32 adds interesting addition cut paths to the operation where the lead-in could not fit. The path rule to stop torch early does not stop at the programmed positio...

After adding your tools, select File, Save default toolset. This toolset will then be loaded by default. You can also save non-default toolsets by selecting File, Save toolset as. This is to save different toolsets that can be loaded when needed. If tools are modified, they will be saved in a Job fi...

Any chance this version helps with the loss of overcut when leadin can't fit?

Sorry - I have not been watching forum too much lately, myself. I see other's getting there questions answered, but nothing on my previous question. Not sure what is going on. I am not using CandCNC's toolset. But if I was, I would make sure the post processor is the latest version, at least, is the...

No Overcut When "Could not fit leadin"

Hi Les, V.6.1.25 Dev. (and earlier) Windows and Linux/Wine. I have a cutting rule to turn off the torch early which includes the programmed overcut. When Sheetcam can't fit a programmed leadin (small detailed area), I get no overcut and that causes the torch to turn off too early. Programming a lead...

Yes - Sounds like you're getting there. SheetCam's post processor can provide the distance from one pierce to the next before it needs to zero (I assume you mean a floating head/touchoff to zero Z). If you are using a post processor for this, the reference distance is close to the top to edit the di...
