Re: Offset
Sorry just looked in Mach and that option 'ignore tool change' is ticked.
Maybe its slighty different to how I described, it doesn't stop and then need input to carry on, it's just a slight pause and then carries on, it does loose time on a big job though.

Re: Offset
I always get a pause when I have 2 different tools in the one operation, that's usually my cue to hit the spacebar as must be a mismatch in chosen tool  Your control is stopping to allow you to change tools. Most control software can be configured to ignore tool changes. Alternatively the post...

It does it on both my win 7 machines, I can open a job file from sheetcam no problem, its when you open a job file from outside sheetcam the problem is, it opens the job file but it seem to be a copy, says untitled in the title bar.

Dev version saving
Hi Les, Just updated dev version and notice now when opening a job file from win explorer that it opens it as a copy I think that's what's happening, it says 'untitled' That's a pain rather than just saving you need to find the file and replace, unless you have added something else in options I have...

Re: Nesting mode
Thanks Les, to be honest though it's not that often you have the same operations on all parts within a sheet at least I don't seem to do, parts with square corners I find the tangent lead-in and out best where as round parts I go with a arc. It's easy enough really on a single file full sheet dxf to...

Have you tried the 'copy all' to copy the operations?
It even works copying from another job file.

Re: Nesting mode
Can it be made to work if one part is selected and disabled if multiple parts are selected? Yes that really would be a godsend, I've been working with nested sheet files the few jobs where the full sheet is one dxf, I try and get all the operations sorted before breaking up (I presume that's the be...

Re: .part not saving path rule selections with part
I asked about that a few years ago, have a look here. https://www.forum.sheetcam.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6590 I've been saving each toolset in it own material folder, ie: 3mm/ stainless/steel/alum then save as finecut or whatever at least that way rules for particular material thickness are save...
