Re: plugin
Did you enter the Vcarve license key in Sheetcam/Options/Plugin Options/Vcarve?

Re: Wrapping text in Inkscape
I've done it in CorelDraw, but I'm not that sharp with Inkscape. If you ask your question over in PlasmaSpider.com there are a lot of Inkscape users over there. There are also lots of Youtube videos on Inkscape.

Re: Deunion multiple objects/images
I suspect you will have to take the design back to whatever program you used to design it and un-group it there.

Re: Linux version tooltable
Les,
I reinstalled my Linux operating system this weekend and that cleared up all my problems. Just something wonkey in the system that screwed things up I guess.
Thanks for your help, Steve

Re: Linux version tooltable
Thanks Les, you were right on the Post processor. I forgot that the last time that I used Sheetcam I was using my modified laser post. That said, I can open the default toolset that was there and it has the missing columns, but the values are wrong, and if I try to open any of the CandCNC toolsets, ...

Linux version tooltable
I've been having a few weird problems with Sheetcam version 6.1.56 running under Xubuntu 18.04.01. But today I was reading a post by someone who was having problems and I opened up my tooltable to compare some settings, and noticed that I was missing my "custom tools" columns, such as cut ...

Re: Cutting circles, is it possible to change to quadrants?
Hi Rob. In Sheetcam there is the option to set an "Overcut", which is a short distance you can cut beyond the start point at the end of the cut. This is usually used to account for the slight lag of the plasma flame at the bottom of the cut, but would also allow you to cut past that small ...

Re: Parts Undersized
Larry, The offset is a reflection of the plasma torch's flame width. An inside offset will offset the cut to the inside of the cut so that the edge of the cut will be even with the desired cut location. Similarly an outside offset will do the same thing, just on the opposite side of the desired cut ...

Motoguy,
I went thru your .svg file and cleaned up a few spots I found with problems. I won't swear that I got them all, but see if this file works better for you.

MotoGuy,
I opened your .svg file with my version of CorelDraw, and that loop was in the .svg file you posted. Have you tried opening the .svg file with CorelDraw after you've exported it from CorelDraw ?

Re: Plasma Operation
Make sure you have the Jet Cutting check box checked under Options/Machine Options. That will display the Jet cutting choice under the operations.

Re: Plasma cutter pauses at + symbol just before end of cut
John, I'm suspecting that 3/4" before the end of the cut you have a code snippet or a path rule kicking in, which is causing a brief pause in code execution when cutting. Take a look at your cutting operation in Sheetcam and see if you have something other than None in one of those two list box...

If I remember right, the lines without the G commands normally use the last G command issued.

Re: Pausing motion to allow torch to start
Normally Mach waits for "arc ok" from the plasma cutter before it moves, but I don't know if your Forney has that signal.

Have you checked your Parking position in Sheetcam to see where it is told to go park?
