Thank you Les,
I will give this a try. Via command line testing directly to the plotter I am actually sending \x03. I will try this pp and modify as needed.
Thanks again!!

Re: SheetCam For Vinyl Cutting Plotter?
Great! If you could show me how to do one, maybe I can add all the others that I need. For speed, the command looks like this: ! s[,n] \x03 where "s" is the speed and "n" is an optional configuration setting. Downforce command: * a,f[,n] \x03 where "a" is for accelerati...

Re: SheetCam For Vinyl Cutting Plotter?
I'd have to look up the code for the downforce, but I believe I am looking for a way to include the down force setting in the tool setting. That way I can save a job for one type of material and be able to program another job using a thicker vinyl which could need different speed, downforce and acce...

Re: sheetcam router and plasma on 1 computer
I'm somewhat late to answer, but I use the -c switch to specify, i.e.:
SheetCam TNG Development.exe -c plasma
or
SheetCam TNG Development.exe -c router
SheetCam TNG Development.exe -c plasma
or
SheetCam TNG Development.exe -c router

SheetCam For Vinyl Cutting Plotter?
I have the drag knife plugin license (somewhere) and see the included HPGL post processor, but do not see a way to specify knife downforce and some other functions a vinyl cutter can use. Plus the plotter is more like a printer when it comes to sending the job to be cut. Can SheetCam be adapted to p...

Open Sheetcam in Win 10 (without using the -c option) and select Help, Open settings folder. That will get you to the directory location that holds the generic Sheetcam files. This is where you would copy your machine profile directories. That being said, you should be able to open Sheetcam with the...

I don't use Mach, but use CV with my controller which probably produces the same results. I believe in a perfect world, the table would not need CV and have high acceleration settings. But high acceleration settings with a table that can't handle it, will produce jerky results shown on the cut piece...

That is a nice thing about SheetCam (and maybe others) that the post processor can be modified to suit many different setups. When I asked about the license structure of SheetCam a while back, I found out that it is for one installation only. I was hoping for one person/many installations as I have ...

Hello Nullenmacher, I think the 180 lines are a very convenient way to allow us to test SheetCam's abilities without committing financially. It is a very easy program to use, especially when you have everything setup for your system. I can't say it's THE best, but I have used a few other CAM program...

I have done this before. It's been awhile and need to locate the code, but I believe I did it in two (possibly three) operations with the same keyhole bit. The first was a drill operation for the insert (large) hole. The second operation is just a single line which starts in the center of the large ...
