Re: Scan Anything for PathPilot

There are a LOT of Tormach users out there AND a LOT of Users that use the PathPilot software to run there NON tormach machines. Might be a good time to try it out.

Can you create a no fuss installer to ease the pain of working with LinuxCNC ?

I can get it tested it IF you can create it.

Sorry but I NO longer have access to a licensed SheetCam package. Teh machine we had that used it was sold with all teh hardware and software that went with it. So without a usable copy of the software there will be no more attempts at plugins or fixes or updates for plasma based functions. Sorry, (...

THAT must be a METRIC thing problem  I need to see IF I can figure out converting teh other one to Scam. UNLESS Les wants to give it a whirl. Most times he has to answer 500 questions before I get done so really it would be a lot less work for him IF he just did it himself. 8) TP

The main problem lies with most plasma machines as they cannot maintain a constant feedrate due to slow accelleration. With a very artsy detailed cut the machine spends a great deal of time at 30-50% of specified feedrates due to CV and settings. Therefor a larger margin of error on completion times...
