Bug report?
Just upgraded to 7.1.24.
When opening a file made with the previous version, the operation to insert custom g-code (M0 optional pause) gives an error (tool does not exist) that I can't resolve.

application options -> default directories
I am having trouble making Sheetcam 7.1.23 respect the default directories I select.
Specifically, the job file and gcode both save at the file location of the imported drawing, regardless of the selections I make in the above menu.

Ruida laser controls
Hi Les,
Fantastic program, been using it for many years with linuxcnc.
Ready to buy the laser plugin now for my recently acquired laser cutter
https://www.gwklaser.com/co2/LC1390.html
It uses Ruida laser controls. Is there a postprocessor for that?
Thanks

Re: What bugs you the most in SheetCam?
It would be nice (if possible and practical) if the tabs as displayed on the screen were centered on the toolpath centerline instead of centered on the source vector. It would serve as a visual confirmation that I'm asking for a cut on the correct side of the vector.

Re: What bugs you the most in SheetCam?
It would be very nice if the simulation would highlight the current line of code in the code editor - follow the bouncing ball - so that anything odd could be debugged.

Adding tabs to open paths
Hi Les,
I get a "some toolpaths were not generated correctly - please report this as a bug" when adding tabs to open paths.
I have only experienced this with release 6.9.17
Thanks

Re: Tabs disappear when adjusting tab settings
To clarify: Clicking OK after selecting "edit operation" erases all tabs - whether or not any changes have been made to the toolpath.

Tabs disappear when adjusting tab settings
Version 6.1.71
closed, outside offset profile toolpath from dxf. Create tabs - > save drawing and postprocess.
Reopen .job file, change height of tabs, click ok. Tabs disappear. I don't remember this to be expected behavior?
