Code/Post Processor Problem?
Hi, Can anyone help? I am having problems with the Mach3.scpost Post processer. I have attached a cutting file ( Bow Hinge Replacement .TAP) to explain my problem. I think the code should read N0130 G00 Z0 8000 to lift Z axis for rapid movement and then N0140 x79.4834 Y6.2727 to move to starting poi...

Part required longer than machine bed
Hi
I have a cheap 3040 machine and I need to cut sheets longer than the machine length.
Is there an easy way to get the work to line up by marking the start point for the second
cut (after moving the work)
Many thanks for any help

I have tried changing the cutting and feed speeds but I can not get I right. Can anyone help? or is ther...

Hi Les Strange thing this, I am using the Mach3 processer, It happens every time I load the program and I have changed no settings. I had a crash a couple of days age caused by a spike (I think) It all started after that. I got a little fed up of trying to solve this and reluctantly deleted Mach3 an...

Re: Rapid movement?
Hi Les and Keith, I am not sure how this works but I hope you can both see this reply. You are both correct the processer gives me the correct code only when you input the correct data. I have misunderstood the tool length offset, I have reset this to zero and all is now correct( we learn something ...

Rapid movement?
Hi, I am still not getting any nearer to solving my problem. I always set the rapid move to G00 Z4.000 to give a rapid clearance of 4mm but when i read the code it only reads Z0.5000 which then marks the surface of the work. Is this a SheetCam problem or have i done something wrong? I am using Mach3...
