Re: SheetCam beta for the terminally brave

I'm running SheetCAM in Wine on Mac and when I start the beta this message shows. If I press Ok the program exits.

A home>"SheetCAM TNG Beta">"Application Data" directory is created but it is only populated with an empty "post"-directory.

Re: Loop inner corners

It seems this feature activates sometimes on small arcs too. I think it wold be better if it happens only if there is a corner on the actual drawing.

Re: Change order of x/y pos and z- at start of prog

In Options->Job Options you can change the Rapid Clerance. It may help.

Re: Start point placement

Isn't it possible to increase the safe height in your case? Or is it at maximum already?

Windows 64bit version

It seems SheetCAM is a 32bit application on Windows. I'm currently running SheetCAM on Mac through Wine. Catalina, the latest version of MacOS, is forbidding 32bit-processes. This means I won't be able to run SheetCAM if I upgrade my OS. I see there is a 64bit version for Linux. Are there any plans ...

Re: Use Path Rules to Set Post Variable

Thanks. I think it's a good idea. It gives the possibility to change behaviour of the post processor on arbitrary point along the cutting path. At the same time it may solve this topics authors request.

Re: Use Path Rules to Set Post Variable

Is it intentional that notes on code snippets not generates a comment or is it a bug?

Maybe if it would be possible to trigger OnComment() by writing a comment in the code snippet.
I read the documentation and found that the notes tab is supposed to work like this. This works as documented for notes on operations and tools but not for notes on code snippets.

Re: Use Path Rules to Set Post Variable

I would like a better way to send messages to the post depending on path rules and action points. The workaround I use for now is to change the feed in the path rule or action pont. I save the base feedRate in OnNewOperation() and compare it with feedRate in OnSetFeed(). But I think it would be grea...

I forgot to make the same change to "endDelay" and "preheat". Use this one instead.

Re: Sheetcam and Openbuilds Control

The post do not change the pierce time from seconds to milliseconds. Maybe that's the problem making 4 seconds being just 4 milliseconds delay. Here's a version which outputs milliseconds.

Re: How to increase pierce time before the torch starts moving

Open the settings for the tool you ar using and there should be a parameter named "Pierce delay".
