part drop out

How do I leave small tabs to hold the part from dropping out while machining. The tabs can be cut by hand after machining process to release the part from the stock. Not sure what this is called or even if this is done in sheetcam.

Hi Steve
Im in sheetcam and all the post under command cnc are plasma.Is this what its called: Command CNC router post. Where else would this post be located?

Using Linuxcnc pos possessor the G code is there in command cnc but nothing displayed in command cnc live view. error message: requested tool not in tool table. In sheetcam the tool is number 100 but commandcnc says requested tool not in tool table. This my first attempt at using my plasma table as ...

Is there a function in sheet cam that can tell me what the total cut distance is in inches? I looked in the simulation mode it gives the total seconds of the cuts but cant find the total distance of the cuts. I changed over from a windows computer to linux computer. the linux computer came with sheetcam on it. I need to transfer my sheetcam license from the windows computer to the linux computer. I dont know how to do that. help please.

Text not on drawing

I made a drawing in bobcad and put some text on it and saved as .dxf file. When i bring the drawing into sheetcam the drawing is there but the text is not.
