Re: Manually disable a path rule at specific location.
Would setting a path rule which activates within a given corner angle (say, 60-70 degrees, or whatever), and setting the at start/at end code to the longer distance, not fix the issue? Set the criteria that start the rule at the top, and the criteria to adjust the "length of action" of the...

Re: Scanything setup and configuration questions
Thanks for the camera suggestions, Les. I too am using the Supereyes camera, and yes, it can be a booger to get a good image. I've found the following cameras on US Amazon. These seem to be the same cameras you suggest, for US based users. I find ScanAnything to be one of those "rarely used, bu...

Re: Job Report Est. Cut time Error
I hate to come back to this since maybe not a lot of people use the reports, but we would like to use it a lot for estimating large jobs. I use the reports for pricing as well. The reports in the "stable" Windows version of SC were junk...way, way off. However, the reports in Linux seem t...

Downloaded Les' 8-17-19 post, to see how it works. Ran into a situation where I need the capability again. We'll see how it goes! Thanks!

That's good to know, Les! I'll play with that setting as well, and see if it makes for better placement!

Re: .part not saving path rule selections with part
That is potentially problematic. Rules apply to the whole job so if you have different sets of rules saved with each part, things could get very messy when you reload them. You could end up with rules contradicting each other. Can't you define a standard set of rules, rather like you have a standar...

Re: .part not saving path rule selections with part
Any chance the new update will keep path rules tied to .part files as well? That's killing me right now with holiday orders. Instead of using the .part files, I'm having to save huge .job files full of parts, and just activate/deactivate them as I build a sheet (because the path files are saved with...

Re: Possible to have leadin/overcut distance tied to toolset?
Enough people have asked for this so it's in the next dev release. Hopefully due out in the next day or so. Great news Les! Thanks for your constant support! Re: Possible to have leadin/overcut distance tied to toolset?
Yeah, that would be super handy. Even if the fields were left changeable (as they are now), but would populate in with the information from the toolset, by default.

Possible to have leadin/overcut distance tied to toolset?
Curious if it's possible to have the leadin/overcut distance tied to the tool selection? I find that the same settings are use (per material thickness, ie, tool selection) most (all) of the time. Having these variables tied to the tool, and not having to manually change them between tools (or forget...
