Overcut should be in the operations settings. Not positive about the pause.
The lead in settings are also in the operations. I usually use a perpendicular lead and use the material thickness as a starting point for length.

Re: Need some help with settings
You could add a short overcut, or add a short pause at end of cut to allow the flame to catch up with the torch before it shuts off.
If you have a THC, your torch could be climbing to get over the pierce dross on the end. Try adding a longer lead in to get your pierce away from the cut path.

Re: Keeping parts together while keeping Thermal Distortion in mind
I don't cut a lot, so I usually just manually set up the cut sequence and the part order.

Re: Where to set amps?
Yeah, the round connector on the back is the cpc. It's for start, arc ok & the divided volts. The serial port is a long connector. It allows remote setting of the amps & air pressure and also error code readout. Your program would need that functionality to utilize it.

Re: Where to set amps?
Does your cutter have a serial port? I'm guessing you have to set amps on the unit itself if it doesn't.
I have a Hypertherm and my controller has the ability to set amps through the serial port on the cutter.

Re: Turning module
It amazes me every day how a one man show is able to create such a robust piece of software like SheetCam. Kudos, Les.

Re: Odd behavior on Sheetcam Linux
Could something in the post be updating the value used by SheetCam? I'm not sure if this is possible, but it sounds logical. Is your post one that is included with SheetCam or have you modified it or gotten it from another source?

You need to set up the moreposts plugin.

Re: New member and issue
You'd have to send me your post & mach screen set and I can take a look at adding this for you.

Re: New member and issue
I modified my post to take advantage of the block delete function of mach3. I added a test run button that removes the torch fire & THC lines and raises the Z up an additional 0.25". It works pretty slick.

Try this. I also converted some of your options to checkboxes.

Re: GRBL Plasma w THC, Torch Touchoff, and Rotary
The dialogue should just show up when you click the added button on the window where you select the post processor. I will have to look at my post and see how it's set up. I think the values are stored in the SheetCam settings file.

Re: GRBL Plasma w THC, Torch Touchoff, and Rotary
An easier way to set custom variables is by using the options window. You can set defaults and then the user can modify them from the window.

Re: Transferring Toolset from 1PC to another
Pick load default toolset off of the file menu. Then save the toolset to a thumb drive. On your new PC, load the toolset, then save the default toolset.
