Re: Rules not working as expected
Yes, that's what I meant. Inside or outside offset.

Re: Rules not working as expected
Didn't look at your job yet, but did you take into account kerf width & offset in your calculations? I'm pretty sure this can have an affect on when rules are applied.

Re: Torch Height Problem
The probe moves should be inserted as the gcode is created by the post processor.

Re: G-codes
He might be using the trial version, but not have the correct post processor for his table. I'm not familiar with that brand, or which one to use.

Re: Pierce delay issue
Which post processor are you using? Can you post a sample of your gcode showing a pierce?

Re: Torch Height Problem
Yeah, I was just looking at your formula. Looks like it should work. I think that is a better idea than the cut distance at determining when to probe.

Re: Torch Height Problem
Proximity probing is an interesting concept. I guess it wouldn't be hard to implement. Simply note the x & y of a probe position and then calculate if the new pierce is outside of a circle centered on the previous probe position.
Probably makes more sense that cut distance.

Re: Need some help with settings
The 3 dots after the tool is just a shortcut to the tool settings. Same window you access from the toolbox on the main screen. The lead settings in the tool was a feature requested by me and some others, since these settings usually change depending on material thickness it made sense to tie them to...

Re: Need some help with settings
Overcut should be in the operations settings. Not positive about the pause.
The lead in settings are also in the operations. I usually use a perpendicular lead and use the material thickness as a starting point for length.

Re: Need some help with settings
You could add a short overcut, or add a short pause at end of cut to allow the flame to catch up with the torch before it shuts off.
If you have a THC, your torch could be climbing to get over the pierce dross on the end. Try adding a longer lead in to get your pierce away from the cut path.
