Re: white points in my sheetcam drawings.

Not sure. Did this just start suddenly? My guess would be a setting with one of your motors. Or, maybe the CV setting in Mach3. I'm not sure how it would behave if you had a really extreme CV setting. I guess it might make it stop on every node. I've not run into that behavior, so I'm not quite sure...

Re: white points in my sheetcam drawings.

The white dots are segment ends. There is a toolbar button to show/hide them. They appear where line segments of arcs meet. They are normal. It doesn't look like your drawing has an excessive amount of nodes, so that shouldn't cause an issue when cutting. I'm guessing you have something set wrong in...

Re: Purchasing Questions

If you already have a Mach3 license then you don't need to purchase it again.

I remember reading somewhere that you can't do math in reports.

Re: Speed of Straight Cuts

Your machine is probably not capable of cutting the non straight areas at the programmed speed so it slows down in those areas. You can use cut rules to force a slow down in certain areas, but there isn't a way to slow down a straight path unless you just slow the feedrate in the tool.

For flame cutting I think we found a chart from the maker of the torch tip we are using. Shows gas pres...

Re: Toolset sharing

Toolsets are based on what plasma cutter you have. They are all a little different. What cutter are you using?

Re: hole too small ..

Do you have the offset in your operation set correctly? Outside offset for an object and inside offset for a hole. Also, you may have to slow down your feedrate on the hole to let the flame catch up.

Re: Leaving small pit/puncture on back side of the sheet

It's from the delay from when the controller tells the plasma to shut off and when the arc actually dies. The metal melts away before the arc dies. It's pretty common. Really the only way to fix it is to make the plasma shut off slightly before the cut is finished. That was the arc dies as soon as i...

Re: Z start to high

Check the setting for height of work above table in job Options. It should be 0 for plasma.

Re: Arraying multiple parts

Are the dimensions in the gcode correct? If the part is odd shaped it might be difficult to tell. Can you array a square and see if the dimensions are correct in the code?
Can you use the measuring tool in SheetCam to see if the parts are displaying differently for some reason?

Re: Odd behaviour on first job loading

Fixed the tools - uncheck "Automatically generate name" in the tool table and re-import This threw me once too. It seems odd to have an obscure setting that changes the names of all of your already created tools when you open the toolset. I get generating a name for a new tool automatically, but ha...

Re: PlasmaRotary Mach3 post problems?

I was going to say it looks like maybe your rotary axis got changed from linear to angular somehow. I guess that's kind of what happened. Glad you figured it out.

Re: About Post processor: MP1000-THC.scpost

I think it's because you have the feedRate set to 1 on line 60. I don't think you are getting a feedrate setting from your tool. What happened to lines 70-90?
