Re: Changing position of a new jet cutting tool
But if you switch the tool numbers and then open an old job, things could get messy. I know the job saves the toolset with it, but if you always use the default toolset like I do, then you will have the wrong tools. Or you could mistakenly merge the toolsets and mess things up. Just things to think ...

Re: Changing position of a new jet cutting tool
I believe they're sorted by tool number only. I've not seen a way to rearrange them without changing tool numbers, which could cause problems when opening old jobs.

Re: Identifying open paths
If you turn on path ends you should see a place that has 2 white dots close together. That is the ends of the open path. If you fix the issue in your CAD program by closing the path, the error should go away. It could also be a short line segment hiding behind a closed path border. Look for 2 white ...

Re: Identifying open paths
You're in nesting view. The crossed arrows. Switch back to selection view, single arrow. Some things don't work in nesting view.

Re: Rotary plugin and Macros within control
Guessing you will want them in the post since it will need to calculate the z moves for the tubing dimensions.

Re: Sheetcam wont open, need to revert back to stable version
Assuming windows is on your c drive, it should be c:\users\<profile name>\appdata\sheetcam. I think.

Re: Sheetcam wont open, need to revert back to stable version
The license is in a file in the settings folder. It's in the windows user folder, not the sheetcam folder.

Re: Can I omit cut lines?
Instead SheetCam always offsets to the right. Is there logic to the right offset? Does this have anything to do with the preferred cut direction for plasma cutting or milling? Does the reverse cut direction setting affect the open contour offset? I've run into this behavior when cutting open paths ...

Re: sheetcam Mach3 plasma.scpost
I'm not following you. You want it to go to x and y at pierce height? That's not wise. It raises to the safe Z height before doing the rapid move so it won't crash into anything that might have tipped up or in case the material is warped. If your macro does the reference move, it shouldn't matter if...

Re: Apply Operation to All Parts
I'm wondering how copy all operations would differ from apply to all parts. Would think the part specific specs would just not be applied in either case.

I'm guessing the snippets are always going to be on a new line. Maybe Les will chime in. I don't use snippets.

Nice job. That eliminates the dimple from an extra pierce.

Re: Add overcut in tools??
I don't think this is something you can do in the post. I think the overcut is an internal function inside SheetCam. Possibly it could be changed to a tool setting like the leads were a while back.
