Re: No Title

I would like the leads to be in the tools as well so when you change the tool to one for a given material the leads change accordingly. Maybe it's only plasma where the leads correspond to the material thickness, otherwise it would seem to make sense.

Re: Altura inicial de corte por plasma para espesores gruesos

That is why the pierce height is higher than the cut height. If you raise the pierce height too much it won't pierce the material.
You can use a ramp pierce to move the torch horizontally away from the splash while it is piercing. I have good luck with this on thicker material.

Re: Trying to use sheetcam with an older ESAB Sabre 2000

If you have a working gcode file that shows the proper format for your machine, you can make the post do almost anything. I'm not familiar with esab machines, so I wouldn't be much help without an example.

Re: x and y reversed

Assuming Mach3 since you haven't stated. You should have one of the dual drive motors (probably A) set to reversed in the soft limits. Then to change direction go to Config --> Ports and Pins --> Motor Outputs and then change Dir LowActive to reverse the direction. You can also reverse the travel di...

Re: x and y reversed

If you have a dual motor gantry you have to switch the direction of both motors. The Y slave motor is typically A.

Re: Changing the tool description

I ran into that once. It kept changing all of my tool names. I never understood why it affects the tools already in the toolset and not just the new ones you create.

Re: Any way to "lock out" the error display window?

I agree. I like that it tells me if something is wrong, but it would be nice if there was a way to acknowledge the errors and keep them from popping up again. Sometimes the error is something you can work around and still cut. Maybe tie the error display to the part lock and if you have parts locked...
