I recieved an email with an attached licence file, I sav it on my desktop, open sheetcam in help menu>open licence but could not find the licence file saved on the desktop. please help

my new licence does not work
I recieved an email with an attached licence file, I sav it on my desktop, open sheetcam in help menu>open licence but could not find the licence file saved on the desktop. please help
