Thanks for looking at that, I see now, was just looking for a easy way out without having to add them to the drawing.
I haven't tried it yet but I doubt if thc would dive going over the circle gap, if it does a action point should do the trick.

Re: Crossing cut rule
Ah not to worry, I'll just use action points, that should do it with not much bother.

Crossing cut rule
I was just seeing if the new rule 'when crossing a cut' would work for this job. I'm trying to find a way of adding a notch where the bend lines are, it's messy drawing a small notch in the drawing and they tend to not show up well cutting at speed, so I thought I'll add a 3mm dia hole right on the ...

Re: Cannot Nest Parts
I don't suppose you have locked the part have you? - parts list - lock symbol - unlocked
Another way to rotate parts is use mouse wheel & shift key, set grid options/angle to 5° I find best.

Re: Break up manually nested drawing
Fixed: break manually nested drawing. Hopefully this time everyone will be happy with it! Yes no problems at all here thanks, You have made some really good improvements recently, the new save behavior is a good one. Program now loads a lot faster but I did also move the folder I store dxf files in...

Re: Apply Operation to All Parts
The 'copy all' from right click in operations works really well, just add a new part then ctrl+v on operations

Re: Select & move multiple parts on material
The icing on the cake would be to hold down shift + crtl or something to get a reduced rotation  :P I don't know, some people are never satisfied  The , and . keys (< and >) also rotate if you prefer the keyboard. Only pushing my luck 😂 No you've done loads of my request and I'm very ...

Re: Select & move multiple parts on material
Don't forget about rotate multiple parts as well, that's a real timesaver - hold shift and mouse wheel, again set bump angle in grid options, 5 degrees works well for me.

Break up manually nested drawing
Hi Les, Think there might be a slight problem with latest dev version when breaking up a dxf drawing, it's always been fine with my output files, however it just started leaving some parts joined and wont break, thought it was my software but thought I'll try going back a couple of versions to 7.1.2...

Re: Set part order
Maybe I misunderstood what you wanted. In this release, whatever part you click on in the nesting window will be highlighed in the graphical display. Ah right,,,I thought it was easier to find the part in the parts list! that is probably more useful than I was looking for 8) What I was really meani...

Re: Set part order
Hi Les,
All good with the latest release, was only thinking the other week a line would be handy in the shape library, just the ticket!
Did it prove a bit tricky doing anything with the part order thing?
