Hello,
I have some collinear connecting lines which i want to import into
Sheetcam WITHOUT getting them combined into a single line.
I'd like to do so, because i need to get a G1 code for each single segment.
Is there a workaround i dont know?
Thank you in Advance!
Hannes
There isn't really any way to do that. The only thing you can do is put a slight gap betwen the lines. SheetCam normally joins very small gaps but you can change the threshold in Options->application optiosn->drawing import->import link tolerance
Why exactly do you need a separate G1 for each line?
Hello Les,
Ty for your response!
I need the G1 because i need a different Z-height
at each point. I will change Z manually after Code creation.
I found a workaround: i make a drill hole at each point, so i get
the X and Y values, and change the code to G1 move instead of.
Another option would be to use the 'move to' operation. This allows you to directly specify movement so you can cut slopes etc. The button with a pointer on it allows you to click on the graphic display to select a coordinate.
