Candcnc Ethercut rotary b axis POST?

Post by corfabrication »

What post processor should I be using with the SC rotary plasma plugin for this system?
I would like to keep the rotary as a separate axis from the xyz.

I am using the PlasmaRotary Mach3 post processor as the SC tutorial video suggests. I needed to change my units per rev to my chuck diameter x pi, which seems to have brought the rotary commands to the correct scale cutting round tubing.
The issue I now have is with square tubing. I created a simple drawing with a .38 dia hole, which should lay on center of 3 faces of the tubing. sheetcam measurement verifies it was imported to SC scaled correctly. when you try to cut, the torch moves well beyond the tubing size (2"x2" tubing)
i tried drawing as a dxf on a program i use often for flat sheet work, and also tried drawing/importing as a svg with a different program. both yield the same result. I am fairly confident its not a drawing problem.

Mach setting was wrong, got it now.
abs was checked instead of inc.
