Rotary Plasma Save pipe/tube option?

Post by jeffery71 »

Hi, I'm just starting to use the Rotary Plasma plugin.. I really like it!. One question I have though. Is there a way to save pipe and tube sizes? I would like to make a database of various pipe and tubing I will be using. I tried using the save material option but I still have to enter the pipe/tube info into the rotary plugin to make the rotary function work.

Thanks!

I am afraid there isn't any facility for saving pipe and tube data. The only workaround is to use job templates (file->save job as template). Templates save everything apart from your drawing. This includes all rotary settings and your operations. If yo uuse standardized layers in your drawings this can be a very quick way of setting up jobs once you have a library of templates.

That will work perfect! I didn't realize that there was that option.. I've been using standard Sheetcam and havn't used TNG much.

Thanks!
