Hi,
I am looking to modify my post again and to do the process, I need to know
the diameter of the rotary tool that I am using.
At this point, I have things working manually (that is I have to manually
enter the tool diameter), but would like to automate the process.

I have attempted to search things, and thought there was a list of
variables that were available, but for the life of me, can't find it nor
the one that I need to use.

So can anybody tell me what variable to use in my post processor to know
what the diameter is as it is recorded in the tool table and obviously
needs to be used to figure path vectors.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Art,

The variable toolDia holds the tool diameter. It is valid from
OnToolChange onwards. You can find a list of all of the variables and
function in Options->machine->post processor->post documentation.

Hi Les,
Thanks so much for the prompt reply. I knew I had seen it someplace and
had looked in all the wrong places!!!!
Now I can proceed to see if I can make this thing work as I desire:{)

Things just keep getting better and better.
