Trouble with TNG not posting

I recently had to upgrade my computer after a lightning strike.
Went with W7 64.
I still have a good backup of all the files I used including my PP. I just can't get TNG to post more than 6 or 7 lines of code.
I am running it in compatibility mode for XP SP3.
Any ideas?

You don't need to use compatibility mode. When you only get a few lines of code, do you get any warning or error messages? If you go to Help->about does it show your license details?

My license did show. I didn't get any error messages.

While it didn't work correctly in either win 7 64 bit alone or in comp. mode, I did install Virtual PC and used XP Mode. Then installed TNG there and now it's good times once again.

Works like it should.
I thought that was kinda odd in the first place.
I have been using win 7 32 for quite a while without the need to put TNG in comp. mode.
