Hi All Couldn't find anything on this so hoping someone may be able to assist, I am trying to set a park position specifically for my Z axis, I tried checking the park position option under job options parking tab and entering a value, this seemed to be ignored, so i de-selected that and entered &qu...

Further down the rabbit hole
You having said that made me wonder about the normal version, I tested and the motion is stable in normal sheetcam, I also imported my toolset and it seemed like all the additional variables (air pressure, amps etc) seems to have come in now. Am I able to use all the dcc variables now in the normal ...

Success
Excellent thank you Les!! I also had to add the query and matz to the pendown function for pierce height settings, but all working now, on both tube and flat sheet :-) I now have a question on the rotational movement when it gets to a straight line, it is very "jumpy" it is breaking the li...

some progress
I have now managed to get the rotary axis elements included into my normal post, so i now have my touch-off and thc all functioning, I also dont need to change post's when i am working on flat sheet vs pipe. I believe this adds some to the calcs and processor load but from analysing a few gcode file...

Motion Mode
What have you set your motion mode to in Mach? config --> General config --> motion mode (constant velocity helps in smoothing the arcs, constant stop will move to exact points, most have it set to constant velocity) Also in SheetCam check what you have the arc fitting tolerance set to, try bumping ...

Fresh Approach
Ok I received some feedback from CandCNC, aparently their post does not work with metric so im kinda left out in the cold.. So I have reverted back to my standard post, which includes all my thc etc features, that I have been using (for flat sheet) and edited it to include the rotaryAxis and unitsPer...

Thanks Les, I have been trying the work around and it does seem to work, just a note on that though it does seem to add random pause points in some arcs and circles when I set the import variable to 0, this is only noticeable when actually cutting and can cause some issues with the THC where the pau...

loosing parts of drawing on import to sheetcam development
Hi All Having a strange thing happen to some cones I am importing into sheetcam development, it either losses half the cone or adds additional radii. I have included the DXF file so you can see if it does the same on your side. This is only happening to the cones and no other parts (or at least that...
